Application Process

MLLPC Secretariat will verify your application and inform your school of the outcome. Upon approval, the fund will be downloaded to your school to be used by the end of the year.

Step-by-step process:

  1. Submit application through the link provided by MLLPC (via email)

  2. MLLPC Secretariat verifies application and notifies outcome

  3. Upon approval, funds ($2,500 or $3,500) are downloaded to your school

  4. Verify performance eligibility via the approved programmes list.

  5. Contact performance organiser directly to confirm booking

  6. Submit required documents to your Administrative Manager

  7. Process payment through downloaded funds

  8. Provide utilisation updates to MLLPC when requested

Detailed Funding Criteria

  • Open to all mainstream primary and secondary schools, post-secondary education institutions (PSEIs) and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) offering Malay Language programmes

  • Cultural performance must be in Malay language and performed locally

  • Ticket price must be below $50 (primary and secondary students) and below $70 (PSEIs and IHLs)

  • Utilisation rate of CPEF funds must be at least 95%

  • CPEF funds should not be used for transportation and teachers' tickets

  • MLLPC provides 1 complimentary ticket (accompanying teacher) for every 20 students

  • CPEF funds only for tickets of performances in MLLPC-approved list

  • Maximum funding: $2,500 per year per school/institution, or $3,500 for secondary schools and JCs offering Malay Language Special Programme and Literature in Malay Language

Required Documentation

  • Booking form

  • Confirmed attendance list

  • Invoice

All documents must be submitted to your school Administrative Manager. The organiser will bill your school directly, and payment is processed through the downloaded fund.

Important Notes

  • Any unutilised fund from CPEF 2026 will be recovered by end of 2026 via IFAAS2

  • For performances not on the approved list, email MLLPC Secretariat at Erfasiah_Abdul_Rahim@moe.gov.sg
