Language Game Show Set to Spark Students' Interest in Malay Language and Culture

More than 30 students from eight primary schools participated in Cepat Tepat 2024, testing their knowledge of Malay language and culture through interactive quizzes and activities.

More than 30 students from eight primary schools took part in Cepat Tepat, testing their knowledge of the Malay language and culture through quizzes and activities such as crossword puzzles. Organised by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) in collaboration with Mediacorp, the programme aimed to spark and sustain students’ interest in the Malay language and culture beyond the classroom.

Held as part of Bulan Bahasa 2024, Cepat Tepat was broadcast weekly on Suria and meWATCH from 16 August, with four schools advancing to the finals on 13 September. Students also participated in accompanying radio programmes on Ria 89.7 and Warna 94.2, exploring Malay culture and standing a chance to win book vouchers.
