Nominations Open for Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award 2023

AGAB 2023 invited nominations to recognise outstanding Malay Language teachers for their contributions to teaching, student well-being and the promotion of Malay language and culture.

From 3 February to 31 March 2023, students, educators, parents and members of the public were invited to nominate outstanding Malay Language teachers for the Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2023.

Jointly organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore, Malay Language Teachers Association, Berita Harian and MLLPC, the award recognises teachers from primary and secondary schools, junior colleges and Millennia Institute for their contributions to Malay Language teaching, student well-being and the promotion of Arif Budiman values.

Since its inception in 2007, the Awards have recognised 74 Malay Language teachers across primary, secondary and pre-university levels. The 2023 Awards comprised two categories: Motivation for teachers with fewer than 10 years of service, and Role Model for those with 10 years or more.
