Nominations Open for Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award 2025

AGAB 2025 invited nominations to recognise outstanding Malay Language teachers who inspire learning, support students and promote Malay language and culture.

From 3 February to 4 April 2025, nominations were open for the Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2025, recognising outstanding Malay Language teachers for their contributions to teaching and learning.

Jointly organised by the Malay Language Council, Malay Language Teachers Association, Berita Harian and MLLPC, the award honours teachers who inspire students’ interest in the Malay language, literature and culture, support their well-being, and embody the values of Arif Budiman. Since 2007, the award has recognised 80 Malay Language teachers across primary, secondary and pre-university levels, with awards presented under the Motivation and Role Model categories.
