Quiz Competition Challenges Secondary School Students' Knowledge of Malay Language and Culture

Kuiz Cepat Tepat 2.0 brought together 220 students from 44 secondary schools to test their knowledge of the Malay language and culture, with eight schools advancing to the semi-finals.

The inaugural Kuiz Cepat Tepat 2.0 brought together 220 students from 44 secondary schools to test their knowledge of the Malay language and culture through a series of quizzes. Adapted from the primary school version, Cepat Tepat, the competition saw 40 students from eight schools advance to the semi-finals.

Organised by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) in collaboration with Mediacorp, the competition aims to develop students’ creative and critical thinking while fostering greater interest in the Malay language and culture beyond the classroom.

The semi-finals were livestreamed on Mediacorp’s YouTube account and MeWATCH on 27 June 2026, with the top four schools advancing to the finals, which aired on Suria and MeWATCH on 30 August 2026.
