Opera Estate Primary School and Yusof Ishak Secondary School emerged champion of Katapella 2025

Opera Estate Primary School and Yusof Ishak Secondary School have emerged as the champions of Katapella 2025, Singapore’s first national-level Malay choral recitation competition, in the primary school and secondary school categories respectively. Organised by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee in partnership with Mediacorp, Katapella aims to foster in students a deeper appreciation for the Malay language and culture beyond schools.
