This programme is designed to provide participants with an authentic learning experience about Malay Finesse whilst instilling these refined values in younger generations and encouraging the practice of finesse amongst Malay language speakers.

About the Carnival

The carnival offers visitors an immersive cultural journey through various interactive booths that showcase different aspects of Malay finesse in daily life. Participants can explore displays featuring infographics from the Malay Finesse Infographic Competition, gaining deeper insights into this cultural concept.

The event's centrepiece is an exciting Mass Dance session that educates visitors about the significance of each dance movement whilst building towards a remarkable finale - an attempt to set a Singapore Book of Records for the largest Finesse in Malay Dance performance. This unique combination of education and celebration creates an unforgettable experience that honours Malay cultural heritage whilst fostering community participation.
