Orang Singapura – Bersatu

MLLPC launched the second collection on 28 September 2024 at Wisma Geylang Serai, featuring 10 songs by late composer Zubir Said. Rearranged by Reyza Hamizan and performed by local artistes, the collection celebrates Singapore's cultural heritage. Distributed to schools and available on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

Project 'Orang Singapura – Bersatu!' Second Song Collection Launch

The Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) proudly launched the second song collection under Project 'Orang Singapura – Bersatu!' on Saturday, 28 September 2024, at Wisma Geylang Serai. The launch was graced by Guest-of-Honour Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, Second Minister for Education.

This MLLPC-commissioned project celebrates Singapore's cultural heritage through a carefully curated collection of 10 songs by the late Mr Zubir Said, Singapore's renowned composer and creator of our national anthem. The collection has been beautifully rearranged by local music producer Reyza Hamizan of 6 Strings Studio and performed by accomplished local artistes including Ainul Yaqin, Suryana Norddin, Syahriszuan, and Reyza Hamizan.

Building on last year's successful 'Orang Singapura' project, this second collection will be distributed to all schools and Institutes of Higher Learning whilst being made widely accessible to the community through popular streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
