Exhibition Overview
Traditional Malay houses are renowned for their unique and iconic architectural features, particularly their distinctive rooflines. Students from the School of Science and Technology present an engaging exhibition featuring interactive 3D models created in Google SketchUp alongside handcrafted cardboard models. This immersive display cultivates cultural understanding and aesthetic appreciation of these architectural elements whilst educating visitors about vernacular terminology and exploring how these traditional designs have been adapted in modern Singapore architecture.
