The biennial fiesta "Adab Disemai, Budi Dituai" engages youth in Malay culture through interactive activities, with Dr Maliki Osman presenting awards to over 340 students from 26 schools in three competitions.

Programme Objectives This biennial celebration creates an engaging environment for young people to immerse themselves in the richness of Malay culture and traditions. Themed "Adab Disemai, Budi Dituai" (Sow Good Etiquette, Reap Respect), the fiesta offers participants meaningful opportunities to experience and appreciate Malay etiquette in their daily lives.
Event Highlights The fiesta features exciting interactive elements including escape rooms and learning booths presented by educational institutions ranging from preschools to junior colleges, Millennia Institute, and the National Library Board. These hands-on activities provide immersive cultural experiences that bring Malay traditions to life.
Award Ceremony Dr Maliki Osman, Second Minister for Education and Chairperson of the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC), served as Guest-of-Honour at the launch ceremony. He presented awards to winners of three prestigious competitions held in conjunction with the fiesta: Senada Seirama (Choral Speaking Competition), Simfoni Kata (Song Writing Competition), and Alun Mutiara (Poem Writing and Skit Competition), celebrating the talents of over 340 students from 26 schools across primary, secondary, and junior college levels.
